The station
uses a Davis Vantage Pro to collect weather
data. The main unit is mounted on a
pole about 4 feet off the ground. The
data is transmitted wirelessly to the Davis
console.
Davis requires the use of their Data Logger
hardware to get the data off of the console
and onto a computer.
The computer that runs it all is a 2021 M1
Mac Mini.
The station uses a software package called WeatherCat
to collect the data, format it and draw the
website.
